This shirt commemorates England 2–2 Argentina at Wembley on 25 May 1991. It was the deciding fixture of the three-team England Challenge Cup.

The teams included several important names. England fielded David Seaman, Lee Dixon, Stuart Pearce, Des Walker, David Batty, John Barnes, Platt and captain Lineker. Argentina included Sergio Goycochea, Oscar Ruggeri, Diego Simeone, Claudio García and Darío Franco. Graham Taylor and Alfio Basile were the respective managers.

It was Argentina’s first match in England since 1980, therefore its first after both the Falklands War and the historic 1986 World Cup quarter-final.
