🏛 PRIVATE COLLECTION 🏛
Parma shirt, 1997/98, match-worn by Hernán Crespo. Puma player-spec with Parmalat in the fabric and name and number 11 in the fabric of the shirt.
Parma carried their league resilience into Europe: the back four protected the box well, midfield recycled possession briskly and the forwards were released early into space. The side’s blend of athleticism and discipline meant they could play at a higher tempo than most Serie A opponents while remaining difficult to break down.
Settled after his debut year, Crespo refined his penalty-area craft—angled runs across centre-halves, first-time finishes from six to twelve yards and quick separation on crosses. He scored freely across competitions and formed a complementary pairing with Chiesa: one occupying centre-backs, the other arriving on the blind side. It was the period that cemented his reputation as one of Europe’s most clinical young No. 9s.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
