🏛 PRIVATE COLLECTION 🏛
Parma away shirt, 1995/96, match-worn by Hristo Stoichkov (No. 8). Yellow Puma long sleeve with blue detailing; Parmalat sponsor woven/sublimated into the fabric and STOICHKOV 8 in light flock on the back.
In transition after the Scala peak, Parma reshaped the attack and rotated heavily in Serie A and Europe. The group still had elite players—Benarrivo’s engine, Dino Baggio’s timing, Zola’s craft—and, in flashes, produced the vertical, counter-punching football that had become a club hallmark, even as results were more uneven.
The Ballon d’Or winner’s Parma season was brief but unmistakable: Stoichkov operated off the left, cutting inside onto his right to shoot from the arc or thread diagonal passes into the No. 9. He chipped in across league and Europe and, despite playing one year in Italy before returning to Spain, left a trail of trademark strikes and a masterclass in wing-forward movement—arriving late at the back post, then exploding into the box from a standing start.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
