🏛 PRIVATE COLLECTION 🏛
Palermo home shirt, 1992/93, short sleeve ABM issue, match-worn by Massimiliano Favo (No. 8 in light plastic, “Giornale di Sicilia” sponsor).
This was the comeback year; Palermo won promotion from Serie C1 and lifted the Coppa Italia Serie C, a rare lower-league double. In the middle of it, Massimiliano Favo, a Napoli-born midfielder, played the connective role Zeman-era midfielders later made famous: shuttling to the ball, screening counters, and recycling play to keep Palermo on the front foot. The side’s identity mixed hard running with direct service to the forwards, and Favo’s positional discipline helped lock the structure that delivered silverware and a return to Serie B.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
