🏛 PRIVATE COLLECTION 🏛
Inter goalkeeper shirt, 1989/90, match-worn by Walter Zenga (No. 1). Long-sleeve Uhlsport issue with Misura sponsor; padded elbows, polo collar and rib cuffs in the late-’80s geometric keeper pattern. The front shows the star-topped crest and Uhlsport detailing; the back features the large paint 1 in period style.
Reigning champions from the Scudetto dei record, Inter began by lifting the Supercoppa Italiana and ended with a top-three finish in Serie A. The backbone - Zenga, Bergomi, Brehme, Matthäus - remained intact; tight defensive numbers contrasted with a brief European Cup run.
The “Uomo Ragno” was the undisputed starter, combining aggressive sweeping with assured handling. His performances formed part of the run that earned him three straight IFFHS World’s Best Goalkeeper awards (1989–1991), cementing his standing as the benchmark Italian keeper of the era.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
