🏛 PRIVATE COLLECTION 🏛
Parma home shirt, 1996/97, match-worn by Fabio Cannavaro. White Puma issue with blue/yellow detailing and Parmalat branding woven into the fabric; long sleeves with name and number 17 printed into the reverse.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Parma finished second in Serie A and qualified for the Champions League for the first time. The side’s platform was a miserly back four in front of a young Gianluigi Buffon, with quick vertical play through midfield and sharp running from the front pairing.
Establishing himself as a first-choice centre-back, Cannavaro built a reputation on anticipation, timing in the duel and outstanding spring despite his height. This was the campaign that pushed him into the senior Italy set-up and set the tone for the leadership and consistency that defined the rest of his career.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
