🏛 PRIVATE COLLECTION 🏛
Parma shirt from 1996/97, short-sleeve, worn by Hernán Crespo. Made by Puma with Parmalat sponsor, finished with CRESPO 11 with the name and number integrated into the fabric
Crespo arrived from River Plate in August 1996 on the back of an Olympic silver medal, where he was the tournament’s top scorer. The step up was harsh: months without a goal, whistles from the Curva, and faith from a new coach, Carlo Ancelotti. Then the switch flipped—two against Cagliari in March and the applause rolled down the Tardini. He closed his debut Serie A season with 12 goals in 27 matches, and Parma finished second, sealing a return to the Champions League.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
