🏛 PRIVATE COLLECTION 🏛
Juventus home shirt, 1995/96, match-worn by Ciro Ferrara vs Reggiana. Kappa issue with Sony sponsor; classic bianconero stripes in player specification with name and number 2 in the fabric of the shirt.
Marcello Lippi’s side finished second in Serie A and conquered Europe, winning the UEFA Champions League after a run that went through a group with Borussia Dortmund, Steaua București and Rangers, then knockouts against Real Madrid (0–1 away, 2–0 home) and Nantes (aggregate 4–3) before the final success on penalties over Ajax. Domestically, Juve were hard to beat down the stretch and closed the season with Champions League glory defining the campaign.
Ciro Ferrara was a constant at centre-back—partnering veteran Pietro Vierchowod and marshalling the line with anticipation and aerial strength. He started throughout the Champions League run, including the final in Rome, and in the league fixture vs Reggiana to which this shirt is tied, delivering the organised, front-foot defending that marked his first peak years in Turin.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
