Long-sleeve Nike issue with Pirelli sponsor; season-correct Nerazzurri stripes and the silver-outlined lightweight nameset introduced in the second half of the previous year. The front shows the star-topped crest and Swoosh; the back carries BAGGIO 10.
Under Marcello Lippi, Inter finished 4th in Serie A and were Coppa Italia runners-up to Lazio. The campaign was uneven in the league but ended with a decisive push that secured Champions League qualification for the following season.
Wearing No. 10, Baggio delivered key contributions despite intermittent minutes—most memorably a brace in the 23 May 2000 playoff vs Parma that clinched Inter’s Champions League place. He closed the year with nine Serie A goals and double figures in all competitions.
