🏛 PRIVATE COLLECTION 🏛
Inter home shirt, 1996/97, match-worn by Youri Djorkaeff vs Boavista in the UEFA Cup (No. 6). Long-sleeve Umbro issue with Pirelli sponsor; classic Nerazzurri stripes, polo collar. The front carries the star-topped crest and Umbro wordmark; the back is finished with arched DJORKAEFF over a large season-style 6 in flock print.
In Roy Hodgson’s only full season, Inter finished 3rd in Serie A and reached the UEFA Cup final. Their route to the showpiece went through Guingamp, Grazer AK, Boavista, Anderlecht and Monaco, including a 7–1 aggregate over Boavista (5–1 at San Siro, 2–0 in Porto) before the penalty shoot-out defeat to Schalke. In the league, Inter posted their best finish since 1993, with Youri Djorkaeff leading league scoring and Maurizio Ganz ending as overall season top scorer.
Djorkaeff was a constant between the lines, top-scoring in Serie A with 14 and delivering key European performances during the run to the final—part of an eye-catching first year in Milan that also produced several notable strikes in the league.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
