🏛 PRIVATE COLLECTION 🏛
Brescia home shirt, 1997/98, match-worn by Andrea Pirlo and unwashed. Asics issue in the club’s classic azzurro with white sash, long-sleeve player specification with name and number 21 in light plastic.
Newly promoted, Brescia returned to Serie A in 1997/98 and spent much of the year battling the drop. It was a tight relegation fight decided late in the campaign, with Brescia ultimately going down after a season of narrow margins and low-scoring games that kept them in contention until the end.
An 18-year-old attacking midfielder/trequartista, Pirlo featured regularly and handled set pieces, showcasing the vision and passing range that would later define his career. His emergence over these two Brescia seasons accelerated a summer transfer to Inter in 1998, closing his first chapter with his hometown club.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
