Inter goalkeeper shirt, 1989/90, match-worn by Walter Zenga (No. 1). Uhlsport era with Misura sponsor; long-sleeve player-spec with padded elbows, polo collar and rib cuffs. The front shows the star-topped Inter crest and Uhlsport detailing with the period geometric keeper pattern; the back carries the large felt “1” in the late-’80s style.
As reigning champions, Inter opened by lifting the Supercoppa Italiana and closed with a top-three Serie A finish. The side retained the Scudetto core, Zenga, Bergomi, Brehme, Matthäus, and remained one of the division’s hardest teams to score against, even as their European Cup run proved short.
The “Uomo Ragno” started as undisputed No. 1 throughout the year, combining sharp handling with aggressive sweeping behind Trapattoni’s back line. His form earned him the first of his three consecutive IFFHS World’s Best Goalkeeper awards (1989–1991), underlining his status as the era’s benchmark Italian keeper.
Status: Part of the Calcio 90 Private Collection, not for sale.
